Obviously, i jumped at the chance! So a few weeks later we got up at crack of dawn to shoot at Vasquez Rock in Southern California, only to find out that the gates were closed and that we needed a permit, which takes 3 days to obtain...there went that plan! I know, I know...genius, right?Lesson learned, ALWAYS plan thoroughly before you shoot! Needless to say we were exhausted and doped up on Redbull and could not immediately go back to sleep. Good thing it's only to obtain a permit, so we'll be back! So we headed north of LA to Bakersfield off Highway 58 were lush, rolling hills and farmland are abundant. Since Charmaine's objective was to capture more of a "Natural" look, which is completely different from her last album, we decided to either capture the sunrise or sunset.
